A photograph for a firm directory needs to work alongside colleagues’ portraits. A speaker biography or an independent advisory practice may call for a different crop or expression. Start by telling Alex where the image will appear, rather than trying to choose a pose in advance.
LinkedIn & introductions
A small profile image needs a clear view of your face. Alex guides your angle and expression, and helps you choose a photograph that still reads well at profile size.
Speaking & presentation materials
Tell Alex if you need both a close headshot and a wider portrait. Knowing the intended layout helps plan the framing without relying on a tight crop later.

Wear the level of formality you normally use with clients and colleagues. Check how the jacket, collar and tie sit when you are seated, and bring everything pressed. For an open-collar look, make sure the collar sits comfortably without a tie.
Essential suits a focused update in one outfit. Signature provides time for up to three outfits—for example, a formal portrait for a firm biography and a more relaxed look for your own professional profile. The aim is useful variety, with the same person recognizable throughout.
If you wear glasses at work, bring them. Alex can adjust your position and lighting around them. You do not need to rehearse a smile or know your best angle; that guidance is part of the session.

A consistent portrait style.
For a finance team, share the number of people, office location, preferred dates and existing portrait requirements. Alex can discuss an on-location headshot day with a setup and schedule appropriate to the assignment.
Include any colleagues with limited availability and the intended uses of the final images. The quote sets out the agreed deliverables; team photographs are delivered within 48 hours.

Do I need a suit and tie for a finance headshot?
Follow your firm’s guidelines and the way you normally present yourself professionally. If both formal and open-collar portraits would be useful, discuss those looks before the session. Essential includes one outfit; Signature allows up to three.
Can I send our existing headshot style?
Yes. Send examples and any required background, framing or file specifications before booking. Alex will discuss the approach with you before the shoot.
Which session should I choose?
Choose Essential for one outfit and two retouched photographs. Signature includes more time, up to three outfits and five retouched photographs. Both individual sessions include same-day delivery.
Can you photograph our whole office?
Request a team quote with your headcount, location and preferred dates. Team assignments have their own schedule and agreed deliverables, with delivery within 48 hours.
