A fundraiser is more than a room full of guests. The raised paddles show people taking part; the portraits at the tables give the evening a personal scale. This selection brings those two views together.
The auction photograph follows the action from among the guests, with the paddles leading the eye toward the host. The seated portrait holds a quieter moment, while the wider room view shows the setting and scale of the gathering. These are complementary parts of a gala’s visual record.
